Tom Pendergrass was born and raised in Texas. His love for scuba diving brought him to the Big Island of Hawaii in 1988, where he was a dive instructor and boat captian.

Tom's love of Hawaii and the ocean naturally meshed with his other passion....art. As a self-taught artist, Tom is constantly experimenting with new ideas and methods. He enjoys working in all mediums, but admits his favorite is wood sculptures. His sculptures come to life through the use of realism and the impression of movement.

Tom also enjoys making hand carved custom wood signs for home or business.

From his studio in Kailua-Kona, on the Big Island of Hawaii, Tom designs and creates his art, but especially enjoys bringing to life the ideas put forth by his clients.
